About Us
Historical Society of Morro Bay is a 501 c 3 Non-Profit corporation with an all-volunteer board. HSMB creates projects around important events, historical incidents or eras, or places that are important in the history of the City.
Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life and culture of the area through preservation of its history by studying and communicating historical events and episodes, creating and maintaining archives, collecting memorabilia, recording oral histories, and identifying historic sites and buildings.
