  • Staff Members

  • Erica D. Crawford  | President/CEO

Erica joined the Executive Staff of the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce in January of 2016 and is responsible for aligning the operations, advocacy, and development of the Chamber with the strategic plan of the Board of Directors. Prior to her California residency, Erica operated independently owned restaurants in Brooklyn, NY, where she got a heavy dose of experience specific to labor relations, city and state business compliance, and marketing …along with an occasional East Coast accent. Erica completed her BA in Sociology at Columbia University. Her work in rapidly gentrifying urban environments fostered a broad and holistic understanding of the complex relationship between community development, neighborhood preservation, and economic vitality.

  • Katherine J. Gillen  | Member Relations Manager

Katherine’s career history ranges from a 20+ year opportunity with Wells Fargo Bank as a Personal Banking Officer to Guest Services Supervisor for a Central Coast hospitality corporation. She has enjoyed every position that has been on a path that would eventually lead her to this position as the Member Relations Manager for the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Katherine enjoys people in all shapes and vocations in life.  Her drive to make a difference every day in Morro Bay is fueled by a deep desire to listen and relate to members of the community. As Katherine says, “We have a goal in the Chamber of Commerce to ‘link arms’ throughout our lovely hamlet to support and maintain healthy relationships, always!”

Her nine grandchildren keep her busy and they live and enjoy the Oceanside Carlsbad area in SoCal.  In Katherine’s leisure time, she enjoys baking, cooking, playing Yahtzee, and regular Facetime with grandchildren about their next Amazon order from Nana!
